According to a report on the results of afforestation and the export turnover of wood and forest products in the first three months of this year sent to the press by the Vietnam Administration of Forestry (VNFOREST) on March 29, Vietnamese wood products continued to see a trade surplus right from the first months of the year, with over US$3 billion.

Wood and wooden product exports in the southern province of Binh Duong fetched US$5.6 billion in 2020, accounting for 47.3 percent of the nation’s total wood export value, according to the Binh Duong Furniture Association (BIFA).
