The Culture Center of Ho Chi Minh City and the Voice of Ho Chi Minh City will hold the opening ceremony of ‘Amateur Music Festival 2013’ on August 8.
The ‘Amateur Music Festival 2013’ is a contest that will include two rounds to test participants from August to end of December.
The contents of songs will express love for country, family and Vietnamese people or achievements in economics, culture and society in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the country in general.
Accordingly, the artists, clubs, team groups from districts in HCMC will perform at the hall of Voice of HCMC.
The program will be broadcast live on AM and FM channels of Voice of HCMC and on HCMC Television.
At the closing ceremony, the organizers will choose outstanding songs that will be performed at the September 23 Park on December 31.
