Viettel cooperates with Microsoft to boost digitization in VN

Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) and Microsoft Corporation has just signed a strategic agreement on digitization for a sustainable development in Vietnam.

The agreement will be carried out in stages to foster the implementation of information technology solutions that are offered by both sides.

This comprehensive collaboration is expected to encourage and expand the task of digitization in the whole nation.

According to Mr. Pham The Truong, General Director of Microsoft Vietnam, his company would like to aid Viettel in the process of digitizing the national economy, ranging from more than 400,000 enterprise partners to local communities; the education, the cyber security, and smart city building. All are to aim at a sustainable growth in Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nam, Deputy General Director of Viettel, stated that thanks to their own strengths and earnestness in this cooperation, both partners are going to achieve great success in launching new attractive products that combine core power of each side onto the market.

With its impressive technological potentials and strong finance, Microsoft Corporation decided to work with Viettel, which is the largest provider of IT and telecommunications solutions based on cloud computing in Vietnam, to offer even more choices on service platforms and applications of cloud computing in addressing complicated issues of each organization or business in the reality.
