Vietnamese students medaled at International Young Inventors Awards 2019

Vietnamese students brought home two gold medals and one silver plus one Special Award granted by Korea University Invention Association in the International Young Inventors Awards (IYIA) 2019 held in Indonesia on October 9-12.

The competition aims to promote innovative activities amongst young people around the world. IYIA focuses on exhibiting creative innovations from young innovators in the world. All participants presented their inventions in the form of sample, prototype, mock-up, and many others.
Vietnamese students’ three inventions received good evaluation for their innovation, eco-friendliness and applicability.
Students Nguyen Van Khanh, Nguyen Bao Long, Dang Vo Quang Huy received gold medal for the invention ‘Magnetic Brake System for Elevators’. Especially, the invention also won the Most Innovative Invention granted by the judges and the Special Award from Korea University Invention Association.

In addition, students Hoang Huyen Anh, Le Thuy Linh, Nguyen Luong Bang also captured gold medal for the invention ‘Research and Design Fire Alarm System for Buildings’.

Students Nguyen Ha My, Do Bao Nhi and Nguyen Gia Thinh were awarded the silver medal for the invention ‘Automatic Adjustment System for Solar-Powered Heater’.

Other news
