At the campaign lauching ceremony in the History- Culture Park in District 9, deputy head of the city Committee of Vietnam Woman Union Tran Thi Phuong Hoa encouraged staffs, union members and locals to plant trees in their houses and in public places to beautify the landscape and protect environment.
People are encouraged to grow more than 10,000 trees to improve residents’ awareness and save the environment as the environment continued to deteriorate under pressure from overpopulation and its activities.
The organizers sent 50 trees to households in the park’s premises.
