Ly Son’s tourism port project invested VND 200 bln

The Transport Department of Quang Ngai and Ly Son island district yesterday co- organized a groundbreaking ceremony of Ben Dinh tourism port in An Vinh commune, the biggest port in the Ly Son.

The new Ben Dinh tourism port covering 8 hectares of land and water surface was designed stations for waterway vehicles and ticket sales with its investment capital of VND 200 billion.

The port is expected to receive in parallel of cargo- carrying ship with 1, 000- 2, 000 tons and  400- seat tourist ships that will contribute resolving overloaded vehicles, meeting tourism sector's demand, and developing economy and society of the island district after it is estimated to put into operation,

Transport Department of Quang Ngai province, as main investor said the project will be completed within 18 months.
