Vietnam is scheduled to host the 2022 Mekong Tourism Forum, themed “Rebuild Tourism, Rebound with Resilience”, from October 9 – 14, the first in-person meeting of the six Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) destinations since the pandemic began in 2019.

At the conference, Hanoi and HCMC, and localities of the central economic key region signed an agreement on tourism development cooperation.

A conference to summarize the forum on linking tourism development between the country’s main cities of Hanoi and HCMC, and the central economic key region including Binh Dinh, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Thua Thien-Hue in the 2021-2025 period was held in the central coastal province of Quang Ngai on August 8 with the participation of more than 300 delegates from cities and provinces across the country.
