Nguyen Van Nen, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, said that HCMC’s new normal - that means city dwellers are living with Covid-19, even with the new strain Omicron. Therefore, city leaders are required to have a new mindset.
At the press conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Health in Ho Chi Minh City Dr. Nguyen Huu Hung said that some localities have seen the rise of Covid-19 cases; therefore, the city had planned to expand the isolation centers in districts for preparation of all situations.
