City receives US$1.1 mln, 135 tons of rice to fight against Covid-19

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City this morning sent more than 50 tons of vegetables, fresh fruits and dozens of tons of rice from donations of many localities nationwide to the frontline forces at the Covid-19 control stations, medical facilities, field hospitals and people in difficult circumstances at isolation areas in districts and Thu Duc City.

Vietnamese people closely collaborating to fight against Covid-19

Facing the increasingly complicated situation of the latest Covid-19 outbreak in Vietnam, the Government sets a goal to have over 70 percent of citizens vaccinated in 2021. Responding to the call for financial help of the Government, people all around the nation, particularly in Ho Chi Minh City, are joining hand to raise funds in order to fulfill that goal.

HCM City receives US$4.3 million in support of COVID-19 fight

The HCM City chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) received VND99 billion (US$4.3 million) on June 9 from organisations, businesses, and individuals in support of the city’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
