Vietnam eyes vaccinating children against Covid-19 in October

The Ministry of Health plans to start vaccinating children aged between 12 and 17 years old against Covid-19 this month, before expanding the vaccination to smaller age groups, informed Deputy Minister Tran Van Thuan on October 9.

Vietnam exported to France 2,860 tonnes of pepper for EUR8.18 million  (US$9.6 million ) in the first 7 months of this year, up 28.6 percent and 44.3 percent in volume and vallue, respectively, against a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Agency of Foreign Trade.

VN saves billions of US dollar thanks to improved customs clearance procedure

Vietnam Customs yesterday announced that because of time reduction in customs clearance procedures for import and export goods, Vietnamese businesses have been able to save over US$3.28 billion in both direct and indirect costs. This is the result of the survey ‘Cross-border Commercial Transaction Index 2020’ for trading environment improvement, national competitiveness increase.
