The Department of Transport of Hanoi on June 11 announced that the capital plans to launch its public bike service in seven districts of Tay Ho, Ba Dinh, Dong Da, Thanh Xuan, Hoan Kiem, Hai Ba Trung and Cau Giay.
Hanoi endured two serious urban flooding times just in one week due to heavy rain. It is understandable that torrential rain normally creates temporary flooding, yet such a serious situation as that in Hanoi is attributed to over-urbanization.
