200 Germany-made ventilators arrive in HCMC

A flight of Vietjet Air transporting 200 ventilators from Germany landed in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport on August 13 to help hospitals in Covid-19 hotspots fight the  Covid-19 pandemic.

HCM City speeds up Covid-19 vaccinations

All people above 18 years old living in Ho Chi Minh City will be vaccinated against Covid-19, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Duong Anh Duc told a meeting on July 30.

HCM City urged to exert every effort to control pandemic by August

Ho Chi Minh City should make every effort to place its current Covid-19 outbreak under control by August, requested Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh at a July 2 meeting with the municipal steering committee for Covid-19 prevention and control.

HCMC receives two more trains of Metro Line No.1

Two more trains with total six carriages for Ho Chi Minh City’s Metro Line No.1 (Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien) arrived in the city’s Khanh Hoi port from Japan on June 20.
