HCMC ready to welcome back international travelers safely

The reopening to vaccinated international travelers is an inevitable trend to recover the tourism industry step by step, Director of the HCMC Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa said in a recent survey on building new tours to attract visitor to the city.

The Department of Tourism of HCMC coordinated with the HCMC High Command and the People’s Committees of Cu Chi and Can Gio districts to offer sightseeing trips to the city’s attractions to frontline healthcare professionals. The program aims to pay tribute to medical workers for their significant contribution, dedication and efforts to help the city since this pandemic started.

HCMC offers experimental tour visiting Can Gio, Cu Chi to frontline force

The Department of Tourism of HCMC coordinated with relevant departments and businesses to offer an experimental tour to Can Gio and Cu Chi districts to 227 frontline workers on September 19. The trip is expected to create an opportunity for tourism recovery of the city in particular and in Vietnam in general.

The Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority, the Management Board of Saigon Hi-Tech Park and the People's Committees of District 7 and the suburban districts of Cu Chi, Can Gio were proposed to work together for the pilot issuance of QR codes for residents in these districts to go out and participate in production and trading activities.
