SEA Games 31 officially kicks off in Hanoi

The 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31), the region’s biggest sporting event, officially began with a grand opening ceremony held at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi on May 12 evening.

SEA Games 31 flame lighting ceremony held

The flame ignition ceremony for the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) was held at the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi on May 6 afternoon to prepare for lighting the cauldron at the Games opening ceremony six days later.

Prime Minister checks preparations for 31st SEA Games

Committee proposes organising SEA Games 31 in July 2022

The Vietnam Olympic Committee has proposed organising the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) in July 2022 instead of November and December this year over concerns about the spread of COVID-19 in the region.

Hanoi selected to host SEA Games 31

The Government has agreed with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST)’s proposal to organise the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 31) and the 11th ASEAN Para Games (Para Games 11) in Vietnam in 2021.
