Shippers, employees of supermarkets proposed to operate until 9 pm

In order to ensure sufficient supply of essential goods for locals amid the implementation of more stringent social distancing, the Department of Trade and Industry of HCMC has proposed the municipal People’s Committee to allow supermarkets, convenience stores and grocery shops to extend their business hours and expand operation.

Shippers delivering essential goods get free Covid-19 test

The HCMC Health Department has delegated the municipal Center for Disease Control (HCDC) to allocate Covid-19 antigen rapid test kits to 411 mobile healthcare stations to implement free testing for all shippers of tech-based transport companies in the city, said Head of the Office of the city’s Department of Health Nguyen Thi Huynh Mai.

Transport trading floors operate ineffectively
