The Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) and the World Bank (WB) in Vietnam on August 10 released “A Trade-Based Analysis of the Economic Impact of Non-Compliance with Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated Fishing: The Case of Vietnam”.
Vietnam’s resolve to fight illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing has been reiterated by the country’s representatives at a press conference on April 25 at the Seafood Expo Global in Brussels, Belgium.
The Prime Minister has recently granted approval for a national action plan to prevent, mitigate and eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing until 2025.
