More than 3,000 e-commerce stores closed for overcharging

The Vietnam e-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with e-commerce platforms to close over 30,000 stores for increasing prices of products for the prevention of the Covid-19 outbreak, causing uncertainties in the market.

Increasing supply of face masks to relieve buying frenzy

To cool down the fever of face masks and hand sanitizers, several distribution channels have joined hands with enterprises to increase the supply for the market. It is expected that hundreds of thousands of antimicrobial and medical face masks will be put into the market this weekend.

Enterprises import fabric materials to make face masks

As the market still faces a shortage of face masks while the source of fabric material has been exhausted, several manufacturers have been rushing to import materials for the production of face masks amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
