HCMC still tightens street traffic in September

Traffic flow in Ho Chi Minh City these days seems increasing, but mostly because of people going to vaccination sites, workplaces, hospitals and shippers delivering goods to buyers. As the city continues to apply social distancing measures until September 30, functional forces are still strictly monitoring street traffic to avoid unnecessary traveling of citizens.

HCMC strictly punish people going out without necessary purposes

Ho Chi Minh City has formed many checkpoints in its districts and Thu Duc City to verify whether all passing people are with purposes regulated in Directive 16 or not. Those without necessray purposes, including shippers transporting unessential items, are fined from VND1-3 million.

HCMC authorities visit border guards in Tay Ninh Province

Head of HCMC Commission of Mass Mobilization Nguyen Huu Hiep on May 4 led a delegation of the city’s officials to visit and present gifts to border guards at the Phuoc Tan Border Station in the south-eastern province of Tay Ninh.
