Vietnam documented an additional 4,802 new Covid-19 infections, including ten imported, from 6:30pm on August 10 to 6am on August 11, raising the national count to 232,937, according to the Ministry of Health.
As new Covid-19 cases are surging and quickly spreading in markets, supermarkets, factories, Can Tho City proposed to extend the Prime Minister’s Directive No.16’s order in two more weeks along with stricter measures.
This morning, the Ministry of Health said that in the past 12 hours, the country had 3,898 new cases of Covid-19, including 191 cases in the community. The Ministry decided to set up 30 resuscitation centers in regions.
The Ministry of Health confirmed 112 new cases of Covid-19 at noon on Saturday, raising the national tally to 12,620 infections. Among cities and provinces with Covid-19 cases, Ho Chi Minh City reported 64 cases.
This morning, the Ministry of Health announced 81 new cases taking Vietnam's Covid-19 patient tally to 12,231, including 60 cases in Ho Chi Minh City and 21 cases in the Northern Province of Bac Giang. Of 81 cases, 76 cases were detected in blocked areas or isolation facilities.
