Politburo Member and Secretary of HCMC Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan stressed that 2020 is the year for the city Party Committee to focus on speeding up major projects, start work on 34 projects and complete 71 others with the total capital of VND62 trillion (US$2.67 billion).
Ho Chi Minh City would like to be given self-determination over project investment to speed up the progress of many infrastructure projects,said city Chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong at a conference between the central Government and local authorities yesterday.
Premise clearance is one of the priorities carried out in the second quarter of 2018 by the Party Committee of Thu Duc District in Ho Chi Minh City. This activity is also in the pilot plan to effectively implement the special mechanisms for the development of the city.
