To further prevent disease spread in the community, the People’s Committee of HCMC mandated urgent measures, including strict social distancing throughout the city for 15 days starting at 0:00 am on July 9 under the Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister on urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic.

Acts of kindness spread across city amid Covid-19 outbreak

In these days, the whole city makes efforts to battle the pandemic that has become a growing complication. In addition, a rise in the number of blocked areas, medical quarantine places and Covid-19 control stations has been seen throughout the city. Many individuals, organizations and businesses in HCMC have joined hands with the municipal government to support people affected by the pandemic when the southern hub has currently implemented social distancing measures.
