WHO pledges to work for early COVID-19 vaccine delivery to Vietnam

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam had an online discussion on June 17 with the World Health Organisation (WHO) Regional Director for the Western Pacific Takeshi Kasai, who vowed to work for the early delivery of COVID-19 vaccines under the COVAX Facility to Vietnam.

WHO, UK certify Vietnam’s COVID-19 test kit

The World Health Organisation (WHO)'s medical product evaluation agency has sent a letter informing the certification of the SARS-CoV-2 testing kit LightPower iVA SARS-CoV-2 1st RT-rPCR, which was jointly produced by Vietnam Military Medical University and Viet A Company.

Philippines reports nearly 209,000 dengue cases, with 882 deaths

 The Philippine Department of Health (DOH) on August 30 announced a report on dengue fever outbreaks in the country, saying that the number of dengue cases since the beginning of 2019 is more than double of the figure recorded in the same period last year.
