After reaching an agreement with HCMC authorities, from October 13 to the end of October 19, the Mien Tay Bus Terminal deployed 37 buses taking 138 passengers from various provinces back to HCMC.

Landslide sweeps six houses into Hau River

A severe landslide occurred in a local ferry pier in Binh Minh Town’s Thanh Phuoc Ward in the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long on February 14 (on the 3rd day of the first lunar month), sweeping six houses into the Hau River.

My Thuan- Can Tho expressway project to start work on January 4

Deputy Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vinh Long Province Mr. Nguyen Van Liet yesterday said that a  roundbreaking ceremony of My Thuan- Can Tho expressway project will be held at Cha Va Bridge in the morning of January 4.

Authorities of the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long on May 5 provided official information about the suicide of Nguyen Huu Tan, a suspect of an anti-state propaganda case, at the provincial Public Security Department’s detention centre.
