Vietnam, Japan issue joint statement

Vietnam and Japan on November 24 issued a joint statement toward the opening of a new era in the bilateral extensive strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia on the occasion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s official visit to Japan from November 22-25.

Vietnam, Japan agree to advance extensive strategic partnership

Vietnam and Japan would co-operate closely to promote their extensive strategic partnership for peace and prosperity in Asia in a new period of more comprehensive and pragmatic development, said Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

Vietnam wishes Japan to become its top investor

At the reception of Mr. Fumio Kishida, Head of Policy Research Department of the ruling LDP Party on the afternoon of May 4,  Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hoped Japan to maintain its position as the top investor in Vietnam as in 2017.
