The People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue Province yesterday issued a decision on administrative fines of up to VND500 million (US$22,000) for the Central Hydropower Joint Stock Company, the investor of Thuong Nhat Hydropower Plant due to not complying with the requirement of reservoir, dam operation of competent state agencies in case of flood, drought, water shortages and emergencies.
