Central provinces continue sending medical staff to HCMC, Binh Duong

Amid increasingly complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, doctors, nurses and medical staff have volunteered to leave the Central provinces of Thanh Hoa and Binh Dinh for Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province in the Southern region to support the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

The People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa Province yesterday issued a plan of receiving residents of Thanh Hoa who are living, studying, working and trapping in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern provinces and cities having demand of coming back to their hometown amid the current complicated Covid-19 pandemic situation in the city.

US-funded conservation project of Ho Dynasty Citadel completed

US aid to help conserve UNESCO-recognised citadel

The Fund for Cultural Preservation of the US Embassy in Vietnam on October 26 presented an aid worth 92,500 USD for a project repairing the dome and southern gate of the Ho Dynasty Citadel in the central Thanh Hoa province.

Authorities from the provinces of Son La, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa Nghe An said floods brought by typhoon Bebinca killed 8 people and 2 missing. The funtional forces continued their efforts to searching for two missing.
