An annual charity walk which was held by the People’s Committee of Phu Nhuan District in HCMC was held on November 27 to collect funds for the poor as well as mark the 20th anniversary of its official launch.
The Labor Federation of HCMC will spend around VND140 billion (US$5.6 million) to organize activities and present gifts to laborers in the city on the occasion of the upcoming lunar New Year, the federation said on November 23.
