Hanoi allocates US$11,6 million to training 270 civil servants

Vietnam’s capital city of Hanoi allocated US$11,6 million to training 270 civil servants as Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Chu Ngoc Anh has just approved the project ‘Training and fostering to improve the quality of civil servants and public employees in Hanoi in the period of 2022 - 2025 and orientation to 2030’.

Vietnam discussing potential solutions to limit private vehicles in major cities

The Government has recently directed five major cities in Vietnam, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Can Tho, to limit or stop private motorbike traffic in some of their districts after 2030. This leads to the need of improving public transport in those areas, contributing to reducing exhaust fumes from vehicles in accordance with Vietnam’s commitment at the 26th Conference for United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26).
