The land fever has recently broken out everywhere in Vietnam, especially in the Central region, which is typically considered the poorest part of the country due to harsh weather. Whenever there is a little information related to possible infrastructure projects in this region, land brokers begin to spread rumors about land value rise, leading to an unavoidable rush of land selling and buying, with prices being increased to abnormal peaks.

Typhoon Saudel to affect directly Central Vietnam from October 24

Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control cum Chief of the National Committee for Incident and Disaster Response and Search and Rescue chaired a meeting with relevant agencies this morning in the capital city of Hanoi to adopt measures against newly-formed storm Saudel, rescue operations and urgently overcome damage in the Central region from floods affected by typhoon Linfa and Nangka.
