The Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City has recently sent a document to the Department of Tourism of HCMC and the departments of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces, along with other waterway tourist transport operators, to study the exploitation of tourist transport by long-range waterway route from HCMC to Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces and vice versa, which is expected to be put into operation in the third quarter of 2022.
