HCMC surveys waterway tourism route to provinces of Tien Giang, Ben Tre

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport collaborated with the Municipal Department of Tourism along with relevant departments, sectors, agencies of two Mekong Delta provinces of Tien Giang, Ben Tre, travel agents, tourism and transport businesses to perform the survey of waterway tourism from Bach Dang Wharf in Ho Chi Minh City to the provinces of Tien Giang and Ben Tre.

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City proposed the Ministry of Transport (MoT) temporarily not to hand over the management of inland waterways terminals at Bach Dang Wharf in District 1 to the  Port Authority of Inland Waterway Area No.3.

Bach Dang Wharf to become tourism harbor

The historical site of Bach Dang Wharf will become the central tourism pier in Ho Chi Minh City, according to the plan on developing waterway tourism products for the period 2017-2020.
