The central coastal province of Khanh Hoa plans to reopen tourism to receive inter-provincial visitors in October, said Deputy Director of the province’s Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Le Thanh.

Ministry plans to reopen destinations to vaccinated visitors

According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Phu Quoc Island in the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang has been selected as a pilot for a 6-month program on receiving foreign travelers with vaccine passports, starting in October. The country’s tourism industry expects to expand the program in other popular tourist destinations, such as Da Lat, Nha Trang, Hoi An and Ha Long.

Ministry proposes to reopen HCMC’s wholesale markets

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Tran Thanh Nam, head of the mission team No.970 on July 21 signed documents on proposal of the reopening three wholesale markets in HCMC, including Binh Dien, Hoc Mon and Thu Duc to ensure sufficient supply of essential goods for HCMC and southern provinces.
