On the occasion of the official visit to Vietnam of Indian Lower House Speaker Om Birla, Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company, on the afternoon of April 19, in Hanoi, held a ceremony to announce the opening of new flight routes to India, including Hanoi - Mumbai, Ho Chi Minh City - Mumbai, Phu Quoc - New Delhi, and Phu Quoc - Mumbai, marking the return and expansion of its operations in the country with a population of 1.4 billion people.

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and low-cost airlines such as Jetstar Pacific and Vietjet Air yesterday planned to cancel and  temporarily delay some domestic flights from and to Nha Trang, Phu Yen, Quy Nhon, Pleiku, Buon Ma Thuot, Da Nang, Da Lat due to an influence of typhoon Matmo hitting the South- Central region.

Transport ministry orders investigation into Vietjet plane’s landing

The Ministry of Transport has ordered an urgent investigation into the latest incident at Vietjet Air when flight VJ689 of the budget carrier landed in a wrong runway at Cam Ranh International Airport in the south central province of Khanh Hoa at noon December 25.

Carriers reschedule flights due to Typhoon Bebinca

Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific and Vietjet Air have announced to reschedule flights from/to airports in Hai Phong city and Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces on August 17 as a result of Typhoon Bebinca.
