Fans line up in bitter cold to receive tickets for AFF Suzuki Cup final

Despite bitter cold, thousands of fans have been patiently and orderly lined up in front of the headquarters of Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to receive tickets for the second leg of the final match between Vietnam and Malaysia in Hanoi for the last two days.

They had booked the tickets online a couple of days before to see the match at at My Dinh national stadium from 7:30 p.m. today.
A VFF representative said that ticket supply is able to meet a small part of the huge demand of fans.
The federation has warned audience against buying tickets in the market because there have been fake tickets offered for sale online. Some have been cheated out of tens of millions of dong.
By late afternoon yesterday, the tickets were found sold in many websites and Facebook at the price of up to VND20 million a pair of tickets which VFF has posted at only VND600,000 a ticket for a good position in Stand A1.
The price has also rocketed from VND500,000 a ticket to VND7.5-8.5 million, VND350,000 to VND4.5-5 million and VND200,000 to VND2.5 million.
Some fans said that ticket hunters implored them to resell their tickets at the price ten times higher than the original level.
