Singer Toc Tien wins “Best Asian Artist in Vietnam” title at 2017 MAMA

Singer Toc Tien was granted the “Best Asian Artist in Vietnam” title at the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) which kicked off at Hoa Binh Theater in Ho Chi Minh City on November 25.

Another Vietnamese artist, Son Tung M-TP received the “Vietnam Breakthrough Artist” prize.
The awards, including “Best of Next” and “Worldwide Favorite Artist” went to Wanna One and SEVENTEEN respectively.
Started in 1999, MAMA, a prominent Asian music awards ceremony, was created by the leading content company CJ E&M. The event is one of the largest global music festivals with the participation of some of the most well-known actors and celebrities in South Korea, China, Japan, Indonesia, Canada, Singapore, Taiwan (China ) and United States.
2017 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) is taking place in two countries and territories including Vietnam, Japan and China’s Hong Kong from November 25- December 1.
The event will continue on November 29 in Japan, and November 30-December 1 in Hong Kong (China).
