HCMC encouraging residents to register for passport online

Due to the increasing registration for passport in Ho Chi Minh City lately, the Immigration Office (PA08) of the HCMC Department of Public Security has instructed needy people to apply for this procedure online via the National Public Service Portal or the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security to avoid long waits and crowds.

This afternoon, thousands of people lined up waiting for passports at the Immigration Department (PA08) and the Ho Chi Minh City Police in Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street in District 3 and the Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security in Nguyen Trai Street in District 1 on the first day of issuing ordinary passports in the new form.
