From Saturday, domestic passengers, regardless of their vaccine status, will no longer have to take a SARS-CoV-2 testing before their flight, with the exception of passengers from areas with a very high pandemic risk.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has been allowed to decide on the frequency of domestic flights to meet the travel demand during the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, under a document signed by the Deputy Minister of Transport Le Anh Tuan.
National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and low-cost airlines of Pacific Airlines, Bamboo Airways, Vietjet will transport apricot and peach blossoms for the upcoming lunar New Year Festival (Tet) on domestic flights from January 17 -February 15 (the 15th day of the last lunar month – 15th day of the first lunar month).

The national flag carrier-Vietnam Airlines will deploy online check-in service for passengers on domestic flights departing from Con Dao Airport in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, starting from November 10.
