HCMC expected to welcome 2 million international visitors

This year, Ho Chi Minh City's tourism industry will
focus on MICE (Meetings, Incentive, Conference, and Events ) visitors from the Middle East and India, because this is a potential customer group with high spending. In 2022, the southern metropolis is expected to welcome about 25 million domestic tourists, including 2 million international visitors.

Gala ceremony of World Travel Awards 2022 to be held in HCMC

The World Travel Awards (WTA) Organizing Committee yesterday held a press conference to announce the gala ceremony of World Travel Awards 2022 in Asia and Oceania, which will take place in Ho Chi Minh City on September 7 in parallel with the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC 2022).
At the conference, Hanoi and HCMC, and localities of the central economic key region signed an agreement on tourism development cooperation.

North-Central-South tourism connectivity enhanced

A conference to summarize the forum on linking tourism development between the country’s main cities of Hanoi and HCMC, and the central economic key region including Binh Dinh, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Thua Thien-Hue in the 2021-2025 period was held in the central coastal province of Quang Ngai on August 8 with the participation of more than 300 delegates from cities and provinces across the country.
