Project on improving school first aid response capacity launched

A project on improving first aid response capacity at schools and in the community in was launched yesterday in Hanoi.

Launched by the Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee and Prudential Vietnam, the project will be carried out at primary schools in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with highest rates of traffic accidents and injuries.
The VND1.8 billion ($77,400) project is expected to provide first aid training for more than 10,000 teachers and students in the two cities, while organizing communication activities to raise public awareness of the significance of emergency response.
Documents and first aid equipment will be supplied to the schools.
It will be carried out from November 2018 to June 2019
