Photo exhibitions mark the August Revolution, National Day in HCMC

A photo exhibition of the success of the August Revolution in 1945 in buiding, protecting and developing the country opened in Nguyen Hue walking street on August 31.

Attending the opening ceremony were Standing Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Tat Thanh Cang; Ms.Than Thi Thu, Head of the Department of Propadanga & Education of HCMC Party Committee and Deputy Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thu.
The exhibition featuirng 84 pictures presents the history and revolutionary struggles from 1930 to 1975; and the cultural, social, and economic achievements of the country.
On the day, another outdoor display marking the National Day is also organized on Ly Tu Trong and Pasteur streets. The display introduces to viewers 134 photos of the cultural, social, and economic achievements of Ho Chi Minh City in recent five years.
