Any misuses of state-owned houses and land will be revoked, said a Ho Chi Minh city official at a meeting on the management of state-owned houses and land on Wednesday.
Vice Chairman of the city People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hong said the reorganization of the management of state-owned houses and land in the city must be carried out right from 2007. Any wasteful or improper uses of land and houses by state offices or agencies will be revoked without any conditions, she added.
She also suggested that offending individuals and organizations be punished strictly.
The city People’s Committee proposed that the Prime Minister instructs ministries and central agencies to report their plans on the management of state-owned houses and land in the city.
Later, city leaders will submit a report on the reorganization to the Government.
