Snowfall covers Fansipan peak

Snowfall yesterday appeared in the country’s highest peak of Fansipan Mountain as the temperature suddenly dropped down under zero degrees Celsius.
This is the first accumulating snowfall wave hitting the country in this year’s winter season.

The meteorologists warned that temperature in the Northern region will continue to reduce along with the high risk of snow and frost from last night to January 1.

According to the National Center for Hydrology Meteorology Forecasting, more cold air will continue to hit the country, bringing bitterly-cold weather on the large scale.

From Sunday afternoon, cold air has began spreading to the country.
