Heavy rain forecast to hit north

The national center for hydro meteorological forecasting said tonight the northwestern region will face heavy rain and thunderstorm, powerful gusts.

Torrential rains, strong winds and possible hailstorm are forecast to hit the provinces of Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Dien Bien and Lai Chau.

The center said the temperature will swing from 22 to 25 degrees Celsius and it can be 20 degrees Celsius in the northwestern region.

Torrential rains and scattered thunderstorm that may be accompanied by hail are expected to cover over Hanoi capital.  The lowest temperature is expected to reach 24 to 27 degrees Celsius while the highest is 35 degrees Celsius.

Scattered thunderstorms may hit the northwestern region

The weather in the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue can be hot however scattered rains will hit several part of these provinces at night.

While Danang city to Binh Thuan province are suffering heat wave with the highest temperature at 32 to 32 degrees Celsius.

The central highlands provinces may witness torrential rains and scattered thunderstorms.

Torrential rains and scattered thunderstorms are forecast to continue hitting the southern region. Hailstorms and strong winds are able to cover over the region with the highest temperature at 32 degrees Celsius and the lowest temperature at 24 degrees Celsius.
