Continental high pressure system spreads out northern region

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center reported that the provinces from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen yesterday experienced hot weather on the large scale with a daytime temperature up to 36 degrees Celsius.

However, heavy rain occurred in the provinces from Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa and Gia Lai in the evening. 

Because of the ongoing low pressure trough, the hot air will continue covering the central region. The highest temperature in the area will increase at 37 degrees Celsius. 

From September 6-8, Ho Chi Minh City will suffer sunny weather at day time, no rain in the evening. The daytime temperature will maintain at 26- 34 degrees Celsius. 

The northern region will see downpours, cyclone, hail and powerful wind because of an influence of a low pressure trough being compressed by a continental high pressure system in the north.

Currently, a tropical low pressure system is approaching the Philippines’ Luzon Island. Within next few days, it is predicted to impact to the northern territorial water of the East Sea.
