Cold weather covers northern region

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center said that a cold air yesterday continued strengthening in the northern border area of Vietnam.

From February 22, the cold front is expected to influence in the northern mountainous, the northern delta and the mid- central regions. 
Because of its impact, the northern and north- central provinces will see small rainfall on the large scale while the mid- central region will experience medium- heavy rains.
The cold weather covers over the northern region with the lowest temperature of 13- 16 degrees Celsius, and at 9- 13 degrees Celsius in the mountainous areas.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces enter dry season with the daytime temperature up to 33- 35 degrees Celsius.
