The ceremony also included the launch of a Tet tree-planting festival and an emulation movement marking the the 50th anniversary of the Dong Loc Junction Victory.
Attending the event were Ms. Truong Thi Mai, member of Politburo, Secretariat of the Communist Party and Head of Central Mass Mobilization Committee Communist Party; the province’s leaders and more than 1,000 local young people.
Participants joined hands to plant trees at the Dong Loc Crossroad National Historical Relic Site and offered VND500 million to build the Nga ba Dong Doc Volunteer Youth’s Temple and gave 25 gifts worth VND1 million of each to disadvantaged children, poor households and welfare beneficiaries in the province.
