At the congress, the participants agreed to modify its regulations and change its name of Vietnam Fisheries Association into Vietnam Fisheries Society ( (VINAFIS)
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang was voted for Chairman of VINAFIS in the period of 2017- 2020.
