Typhoon Barijat to weaken into low-pressure

The 5th typhoon- Barijat is moving towards China’s Leizhou Peninsula and warned to effect to the northern region in the next two days.

On September 12, at 7am Berijit centered at 20.5 degree north latitude, 115.4 degrees east longitude, 510km from China’s Hainan Island in the east eastern north.

It is forecast in the next 24 hours, Berijit will move west, at 15 to 20km per hour and be able to gain strength. On September 13, it will center on the east part of China’s Leizhou Peninsula.

In the next 24 to 48 hours, the typhoon is expected to move west western north, at 20km per hour then weaken into a low-pressure system which can hit the provinces of Quang Ninh to Nam Dinh.

As per weather forecast, the 5th typhoon –Berijit will then weaken into low-pressure system before making landfall in the northern region.

On the other hand, the National Center for Hydro Meteorological Forecasting said this morning a super typhoon Mangkhut centered on the west northern part of Pacific Ocean and gained the strongest wind at level 16, around 185 to 200 km per hour.

A super typhoon will move the north part of the East Sea in the next three days.
