From June 1, commune of Suoi Trau will be completely deleted because nearly 1,360 hectares of land are planned in the Long Thanh international airport project and 126 hectares will be merged into Hamlet 3 of Bau Can commune.
After the clearance, officials of Suoi Trau commune will work at the People's Committee of Binh Son Commune and its local people will be relocated in Binh Son resettlement area.
After the adjustment, Binh Son commune has increased its area to 7,420 hectares, of which 5,000 hectares of land belongs to the Long Thanh international airport project.
The Government will use 5,000 hectares of land to build Long Thanh International Airport, affecting the lives of nearly 4,900 households.
