Altogether thirty four scientists departed from Nha Trang Port in the central province of Khanh Hoa to conduct their fourth biodiversity study in the East Sea on May 2.
They sailed out on the Russian marine research vessel ‘Akademik Oparin’ from Nha Trang Port, with the main purpose to comprehensively research the biodiversity and biochemistry of the East Sea.
The scientists will focus on studying coral reefs and determine seaweed varieties and new micro-organism sources for further marine research.
